Filmed after the park’s season officially ended, Silver Dollar City is extending its world-famous Christmas décor into January, keeping millions of lights glowing to transform the park into a real-life holiday movie set.

To introduce Tims to the Table Rock Lake community, the Table Rock Quilt Guild will host a public lecture titled “A Quilt Is Born” on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at 2 p.m.

The non-denominational services are held at 3 p.m. on Sunday afternoons. When cleaning and organizing the property, leaders also found an adjoining Prayer Garden, and are eager to develop that as a place of prayer and memories for the community. 

NFTRL is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to foster friendship among members and help them get involved in community, social, civic and educational causes—a great way for new residents to learn about the area.

Each fall, the team meets with mansion staff to dream up that year’s theme—sometimes elegant, sometimes nostalgic, always meaningful. Together, they imagine the kind of Christmas that invites every visitor to stop in the doorway and whisper, “Wow.”

As part of the program, students learn valuable basic skills for starting their own business, including financial planning, studying the market, promoting their business and more.
