Discover Crane seeks volunteers to expand Christmas lights display
The holiday season may still be a few months away, but Discover Crane is already preparing to bring more Christmas cheer to the community.
Discover Crane Inc. is seeking volunteers to help prepare Christmas light displays for installation in Crane City Park, work began on Saturday, September 12, at 10 a.m. The organization is encouraging community members to give even an hour of their time to help get the displays ready for the upcoming holiday season.
This year, Discover Crane is looking toward a bigger and brighter Christmas lights display, creating an opportunity for residents and visitors to enjoy even more holiday decorations in the park. The project is part of the organization’s ongoing efforts to promote community involvement and showcase Crane’s small-town spirit. Volunteers will help prepare the Christmas light displays so they can be installed throughout Crane City Park. Whether someone can spend an hour or stay longer, every helping hand can make a difference as the community works together to prepare for the Christmas season.
