I’m fascinated with my current study of the Old Testament books of Ezra and Nehemiah, which describe the return of the Jewish exiles to their homeland. Lowry came up with the idea of organizing clean-up projects around Kirbyville and the surrounding rural area, bringing together those who need service hours with those who simply want to help beautify and protect the area where they live or commute.
