Dean and his bride of 57 years, Sheila, loved spending time together, as well as with their children and grandchildren. The couple shared 14 children, 32 grandchildren, and one great grandchild, born in January.

Martin, who announced his upcoming retirement late last year, was honored on Friday at a ceremony held at Fire Station Number Four, with several co-workers, city leaders and community members in attendance.

Ashley Harkness, candidate for Branson's Board of Aldermen, Ward 3, defeated incumbent Ralph LeBlanc, with 52.57 % of the vote. Both Harkness and LeBlanc worked diligently on their respective campaigns.
