Tim Pope's name has been synonymous with the Branson music scene for years. Pope is a drummer, entertainer and a music instructor. Based out of Branson, Pope is well known for his dynamic and energetic performances. He has shared the stage with many nationally acclaimed artists, including Tony Orlando, Chubby Checker, Bob Hope, LaToya Jackson and more.

In addition to performing on stage throughout Branson and around the world, Pope has also entertained crowds in Branson venues such as Waxy O'Shea's and The Outback Pub, among other locales.

A gifted instructor, Pope shares his love of music and encourages others through his Timpo Music.

Pope was recently sidelined with a health issue. A stroke left him unable to perform and needing support from the community he loves.

A fundraiser has been set up through GoFundMe to help Pope with his expenses during his recovery, and the community is pouring out their love and support for this beloved entertainer.

Michael Wouters was responsible for establishing the fundraising event.

Said Wouters, "With great sadness, we learned that our dear friend and amazing drummer Tim Pope suffered a stroke. The left side of his body is recovering and Tim is not able to perform at the moment, so he needs our help."

According to Wouters, Pope remains grateful. Wouters shared Pope's thoughts, noting, "In Tim's own words, 'God is good and God is great! He chose to keep me around for a while longer. I can get around, but it's kind of tough. Just wanted to ask for your prayers, because prayers get things done. Especially when they're coming to God from all different directions!'"

Wouters added, "If you are able to donate, even the smallest amount, it will help Tim pay for his medical bills and will help keep the lights on. Through his GoFundMe, we will keep you posted on his recovery. Thank you all in advance."
