During the Thanksgiving season, people around the country pause to reflect what makes them truly thankful. Branson Globe readers took the opportunity to express their gratitude with us.

In addition to the cash fundraiser, families can pick up a pound of meat, a pound of oats, and some buns by stopping by Shirley’s Kitchen with their child/children, between 4 and 5 p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday until benefits are reinstated.

Examples of donations might include canned pasta, canned meat, canned fruits or vegetables, pasta and sauce, cereal, dry milk, single-serve items and meals, or other nonperishable items that are not beyond their expiration date.
