Silver Dollar City Christmas tree is magical

The spectacular Christmas tree that is the centerpiece to Silver Dollar City's "An Old Time Christmas" serves as a gathering place and a backdrop for photos during the day but at night it is the focal point of the city's holiday lighting display and helps create a magical atmosphere for all who visit.
The Grand Fir tree, handpicked from Oregon, was designed to be reminiscent of the famous Rockefeller Center tree in New York City. The tree proudly stands 45 feet tall and features 30,000 lights. The magnificent tree will be lit three times each evening during the holiday season. The Grand Fir, a highlight of the park's Christmas decor, brings holiday happiness to all who see it.
Silver Dollar City's "An Old Time Christmas" can be enjoyed now through January 4, 2026.
Lighting ceremonies mark the beginning of Ozark Mountain Christmas
In recent years, Branson has become known as America's Christmas Tree City, with businesses displaying a wide variety of beautifully and creatively decorated trees for the enjoyment of our area residents and visitors.
Three of the area's most amazing trees were lit in special ceremonies recently.

In conjunction with the Branson Christmas Coalition's First Lights of Christmas campaign, the Community Christmas tree, located next to the Branson Ferris Wheel on West 76 Country Boulevard, was lit in a fun-filled ceremony that included Christmas music by Branson's Rick McEwen. Stevie Lee Woods performed the song "Ozark Mountain Christmas." The holiday song, written by local songwriter and singer Lynda Lynn, has become the unofficial theme to the Branson Christmas celebration. This marks the sixth year that the Community Christmas tree has stood proud next to the 76 Strip.
Branson Landing was the site of a ceremony in honor of their own Christmas centerpiece. The Branson Landing tree, located at the venue's center, stands 63-feet tall and beautifully decorated with animated lights, set to music. A ceremony, hosted by KOLR 10's Tom Trtan, included music, dance, hot chocolate and even Santa as Christmas was ushered in at the Branson Landing.
This year, a new addition to Silver Dollar City is the Grand Fir, a Rockefeller-type tree that stands more than 40-feet tall. This amazing tree, the focal point of the City's nightly lighting ceremony, welcomes visitors who have come to spend their holiday at Silver Dollar City. Adorned with 30,000 lights, the tree creates a festive atmosphere for visitors to the theme park.
We encourage you to visit these three trees and the hundreds of others throughout Branson as you enjoy a very Merry Ozark Mountain Christmas season.
