Rau was the head of Public Relations of the area's largest attraction throughout the Branson Boom, when the area received tremendous national acclaim, and she played a key role in making Silver Dollar City the internationally known entity it is today.  

In recent years, Branson has become known as America's Christmas Tree City, with businesses displaying a wide variety of beautifully and creatively decorated trees for the enjoyment of our area residents and visitors.
