Branson teams up with Great American Media for Christmas movie

Great American Media is partnering with the City of Branson and Silver Dollar City to produce a new, original Christmas movie.

"An Ozark Mountain Christmas" will debut as part of the Great American Christmas 2026 on Great American Family TV, Great American Pure Flix and GFAM+.

Produced by Nicely Entertainment, the holiday movie will star Brianna Cohen and Jonathan Stoddard. Auditions have already begun locally for additional featured parts and extras in the film. The made-for-TV movie will be filmed on location in Branson, Missouri, and showcase Branson during the holiday season. Silver Dollar City will also play a major role in the film, which will highlight the park's "An Old Time Christmas" festival.
