USACE closes swim beach at Old Hwy 86 campground until further notice
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is temporarily closing the swim beach at the Old Highway 86 Campground on Table Rock Lake until further notice because of an algal bloom. USACE has reported the algal bloom to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and is awaiting testing. USACE has posted closure signs at the swim beach. Youth archery deer hunt announced for Table Rock Lake
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Table Rock Lake, will host a youth archery hunt Oct. 16 through 18, 2026. The hunt will take place on USACE property below Table Rock Dam. Applications to participate must be received by 4 p.m., Sept 25, 2026. Applications are available online at https://www.swl.usace.army.mil/Missions/Recreation/Lakes/Table-Rock-Lake/Events/, or in-person at the Dewey Short Visitor Center and Table Rock Lake Project Office.
