The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is temporarily closing the swim beach at the Old Highway 86 Campground on Table Rock Lake until further notice because of an algal bloom.
USACE has reported the algal bloom to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and is awaiting testing.
USACE has posted closure signs at the swim beach. Park rangers will reopen the swim beach when test results indicate it is safe to do so.
