Pet longevity: The ‘last leg’ may not have to be

In some cases, it is harder to lose a pet than it is a friend or acquaintance due to the simple facts that pets are 100% loyal, transparent, not critical, never two-faced and basically a Christian across the board, comparatively.
Of late, I have had many friends in mourning from having to put down their furry “peeps” who have been there for them even more than family and friends, in many cases.
This can be very hard on us and we are expected to just “suck it up,” and hear the general consensus of “They are just animals…” This saying, more often, should be changed to… “They are just humans, what can you expect?”
In order to fix, save or prolong the life of our pet, one has to be quite wealthy due to how the average vet operates (no pun intended!) because they are in business FOR business. Unless you have a good friend or relative in the veterinary profession, you can’t go in and say:” My cat has a respiratory infection from an allergy that has gone South” and get a straight forward response/treatment as an antibiotic shot and then, perhaps, oral follow-up. It has to be overkill like blood work, urine analysis (good luck there!) and, often times, an X-ray thrown in for good measure. All this would break the average budget!
It is surprising what is available via Atwood’s, Tractor Supply and even on Amazon. Regarding the latrer, right off the bat, I located two allergy meds (Pet Armour’s Antihistamine and Animal Essentials Allergy Treatment), then a product called “Natural Antibiotic” along with the HomeoPet product that is a combo of an antibiotic AND an antihistamine. I have tried the Natural Antibiotic, and it seems to be working on my 12-year-old Bombay cat, Sparky.
On a more serious note, there are a lot of cancers that dogs and cats acquire. These are generally death sentences either because treatment is unaffordable or inadequate. But if we can start thinking “out of the box,” we can opt for an alternative or natural approach to our health riddles with successful outcomes. I have yet to hear of a pet owner who has tried this, though I’m sure some have. My little Cairn Terrier, Peaches, has a lump on her breast, and I can’t afford the vet bill that comes with no guarantees. So, since I have known of two people who have had stage 4 lung and brain cancer who have since become completely cancer-free from using Ivermectin protocol, why not try it on canines or felines?! What is to lose? Nothing! We could easily gain several or more years for our pets not giving up so easily!
I will be ordering Ivermectin drops for internal treatment and then, religiously, applying frankincense topically to Peaches’ tumor. It may even be a benign (safe) tumor, but those things don’t need to be there for any reason just waiting to turn malignant.
Apparently, parasites are responsible for all, if not the vast majority, of cancers, so it makes perfect sense that Ivermectin can reverse the death sentence as its origin is that of a parasite killer. Just make sure you dose correctly (based on weight) by consulting with the product manufacturer or your pharmacist. There is more hope than we may think, people!
