Humane Society working to keep doors of Snip City open

Branson's recently opened low-cost spay and neuter clinic may be forced to close its doors.

Snip City, a vital mission of the Branson Humane Society, offers spay and neuter services at very reduced prices to help with pet overpopulation in our area. Spaying and neutering prevent unwanted litters, reduces intake in shelters and helps dogs and cats enjoy longer and healthier lives.

"Right now, we are facing a difficult reality," explained a Branson Humane Society representative. "Without monetary support and sponsorships, we may be forced to close our doors. We do not want to make that call. But we cannot continue this mission alone. We are asking our community, local businesses and animal lovers to step forward."

The Branson Humane Society is encouraging local businesses and individuals to become a Snip City sponsor. There are numerous levels of sponsorship. An Ultimate Sponsor is one who gives $25,000 or more. A Platinum Sponsor is one that provides $10,000 or more. A Gold Sponsor is the business or individual that offers $7,500 or more. To be a Silver Sponsor, donate $5,000 or more to keep Snip City open. A Bronze Sponsorship is $1,000 or more.

Sponsorships may be made online at www.bransonhumanesociety.com or in person at 2837 Shepherd of the Hills Expressway, Branson. Sponsorships can also be made via phone at 417-337-7387.

For those who are unable to meet one of the sponsorship levels but would like to help Snip City to continue to serve the needs of our community, donations of any amount are always welcome.

Your donation or sponsorship will allow Snip City to continue with the important work they are doing in the community. Your contribution will help fund low cost spay and neuter surgeries, purchase medical supplies, and provide care and recovery to beloved pets.

"Your support directly keeps affordable veterinary care available for families who love their pets but struggle with rising costs," the Humane Society representative explained. "Together, we can keep this lifesaving program going and continue making a difference—one animal at a time. Thank you for believing in this mission and standing with us."
