BVA 913 awards scholarships

On May 14, Branson Veterans of America 913, awarded its last $1,000 scholarship. Branson Veterans of America 913 passed out a total of four scholarships in that amount to area high school students.

Branson Veterans of America 913 has two scholarship programs.  The William G. Groninger provides two $1,000 scholarships for high school seniors and the Honors which also offers two $1,000 scholarships for those attending a university, college, or technical trade school and can apply as many times as possible during their education. Since we didn’t have applications from students attending post-secondary education, the BVA 913 Honor Guard awarded two students the Honors Scholarship. Receiving the Honors Scholarship were River Fronterhouse from Branson High School and Jade Robinson from Forsyth High School.

Anna Hall and Krystina Evans, both from School of the Ozarks, were awarded the William G. Groninger Scholarships.

We ask eligible students to visit our website, Branson Veterans of America 913, in December, under scholarships, to learn how they can apply for one of these scholarships.
