Upcoming ceremonies celebrate lighting of two Christmas trees
Two upcoming events, just days apart, will celebrate the holiday season.
On November 5, a special ceremony recognizes Branson's 39-foot Community Christmas Tree as America's Most Patriotic Christmas Tree.
The event will include a ribbon cutting, holiday music and a special appearance from Santa and Mrs. Claus, direct from the North Pole.
Hosted by the Branson Christmas Coalition, this event is open to the public and free of charge. The theme for this year's tree is Hope and Hospitality.
The Community Christmas Tree is located at 3335 West 76 Country Boulevard, adjacent to the Branson Ferris Wheel. The celebration begins at 10 a.m. on Thursday, November 5.
The Branson Landing's Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony is set for November 7.
The free admission event features hot cocoa and treats from Kilwins, candy canes, dancers from Sonshine Dance, a special appearance by Santa Claus and more.
KOLR 10's Tom Trtan serves as master of ceremonies for the event.
The state-of-the-art animated Branson Landing Tree stands 63 feet tall, over five and a half stories.
The Branson Landing Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony begins at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, at 100 Branson Landing Boulevard.
