November 1 marks the beginning of Ozark Mountain Christmas and all of the beautiful sights and sounds of the holiday season.
This year, the Branson Christmas Coalition invites the entire community to participate in a very special kickoff to Ozark Mountain Christmas with the First Lights of Ozark Mountain Christmas & the Community Christmas Tree Lighting on November 1.

The Christmas Coalition is encouraging all area businesses, churches and organizations to join in the festive spirit of Christmas by turning on their lighted Christmas displays at exactly 7 p.m. on Saturday, November 1, in a special, synchronized “First Lights” display throughout the community.
"Ozark Mountain Christmas is a deeply rooted tradition that brings joy to so many, and this year, we want to make the kickoff truly unforgettable," says Elizabeth Hughes, executive director of the Branson Christmas Coalition. "By inviting everyone to turn on their lights at the same moment, we're creating a wave of brightness that symbolizes the unity and spirit of Ozark Mountain Country. We encourage everyone to be a part of this magical start to the holiday season!"
Tree lighting ceremonies for two majestic Christmas trees will be held Saturday evening.
The Community Christmas Tree Lighting event begins at 6:00 p.m. on November 1. The free festivities include live music, Christmas refreshments, an amazing Ferris Wheel Light Display, and, of course, the unveiling of the 2025 Community Christmas Tree during the First Lights of Christmas.
This will be an exciting evening for the entire family with live music performances by the Branson and School of the Ozarks Choirs, Stevie Lee Woods from Nashville Roadhouse and Rick McEwen from Little Opry Theater.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will make special appearances.
The Community Christmas Tree is located at 3335 West 76 Country Boulevard, next to the Branson Ferris Wheel.
At 7:30 p.m. on November 1, Branson Landing's Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony begins.
This festive, annual event includes hot cocoa and treats from Kilwins, candy canes, Christmas dancers from Sonshine Dance and an appearance by Santa—and possibly Mrs. Claus.
KOLR 10's Tom Trtan serves as emcee for the free event.
The Branson Landing Christmas Tree is sponsored by The Bank of Missouri. The tree is located in the center of Branson Landing.
Both the Community Christmas Tree and the Branson Landing Christmas Tree will shine brightly each night throughout the holiday season.
