A fun tradition during Branson's Veterans Homecoming week is an event hosted by The Flagstore.
Each year Chris and Michelle Cartwright, owners of The Flagstore, hold a duck hunt as a way to add a little more fun to Veterans Week.
Each day through Monday, November 10, ducks will be hidden within the boundaries of the majestic Veterans Memorial Garden, located at 1107 West Main Street. Visitors and locals alike are invited to go on a duck hunt, searching the park for the ducks as you enjoy the fabulous displays in honor of our nation's veterans. Ducks found in the Veterans Memorial Garden may be taken to The Flagstore booth at Vendor Village, located at Ballparks of America, or to The Flagstore itself, where they will be exchanged for a complimentary gift.
At The Flagstore booth at Vendor Village, Chris offers military hats and pins, as well as some flags. The Flagstore has flags of all kinds, including a variety of American flags, military flags, state flags, garden and decorative flags, custom flags, hardware, accessories, military hats and pins, and much more. Chris and Michelle and their family take pride in the fact that their American flags are made in the United States.
The Flagstore is veteran owned and operated, and the Cartwright family is well known for their patriotism and love of country, as well as their outstanding customer service.
The Flagstore is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Flagstore is located at 114 South Commercial Street in downtown Branson.
