The Brook Wellness Center to host Family Fun Day

The Brook Wellness Center invites the community to a Family Fun Day planned for June 6, 2026, at Shoals Bend Park in Forsyth. This annual day commemorates The Brook’s birthday, so help them celebrate by enjoying food, games and raffles from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

The Brook’s mission is to “empower people to discover their strengths and help them rebuild tools for overcoming substance use and mental health disorders.” This is accomplished through a variety of evidence-based treatment services, as well as emotional and spiritual support, encouragement and fellowship. The Brook is fully certified by the Missouri Department of Mental Health and Division of Behavioral Health. 

Family Fun Day is free, but advance registration at https://thebrookwellnesscenter.org/attend-an-event will aid in planning. Also, while visiting the website, check out ways to get involved in projects benefiting the community, including the Child and Youth Haven, a safe space just for young people to heal from trauma.
