Registration open for Master Gardeners Fall Workshop

Gardeners, it’s that time of year again! The Master Gardeners of the Ozarks will present their “Fall in Love with Gardening” Fall Workshop on Saturday, September 27, at New Testament Christian Church, 21016 Main St., Reeds Spring. From 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., experience fun, fellowship, delicious food, great shopping and a wealth of information sure to benefit gardeners of all levels of experience—new gardeners or those newly adjusting to the Ozarks as well as those who have gardened for decades.
Continental breakfast will be served at 8:30, with the opportunity to browse the vendors of all things garden-related and sign up for the popular raffle items, before the programs begin at 9:30. Program topics will include these:
· Fall Pollinator Gardens, by Kelly McGowan, Field Specialist in Horticulture, University of Missouri Extension, Greene County;
· Planting and Caring for Trees, by Skip Easter, Forester and Certified Arborist;
· New Plants in 2026, by Nathan Bell, Greenhouse Manager, College of the Ozarks;
· Growing Small Fruit for the Home Garden, by Matthew Huchteman, Field Specialist in Horticulture, MU Extension, Jasper County.
The non-refundable registration fee of $25 also includes lunch by Lillee’s Catering. Remember to bring cash or check for your vendor purchases.
