Music on the Lake Concerts planned for 2026

It’s that time of year again—to mark your calendar for some great concerts featuring local bands at the Music on the Lake Concert Series, presented each year by Veterans of the Ozarks. What better way to spend a spring, summer, or fall evening than relaxing with friends or making some new ones, while listening to music and supporting a great cause.

Veterans of the Ozarks is dedicated to supporting local area veterans during times of crisis or need, and to help with that mission, tax-exempt donor sponsorships are currently being accepted for the concerts. Starting at a general sponsorship level of just $150, sponsors have their names and logos displayed at the concerts, with exposure in other promotional materials at increased levels of sponsorship. Email votoorg@veteransoftheozarks.org for more information.

The concert series consists of 12 shows, with a variety of music genres, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on alternating Saturday evenings from May through September at the Kimberling City Shopping Mall, with a special Fireburst show on July 2. This year’s lineup includes the following bands and dates:

  • Saturday, May 2: Eddie Valen (Rock & Roll)

  • Saturday, May 16: Wynn Bros (Country)

  • Saturday, May 30: Shawn Campbell (Country Rock)

  • Saturday, June 13: Resurrection (Rock & Roll)

  • Saturday, June 27: Table Rockers (Rock & Roll)

  • Thursday, July 2 (Fireburst): Highway 13 (Rock & Roll)

  • Saturday, July 11: Dirty Truth (Classic Rock)

  • Saturday, July 25: Tom Lovato & Friends (Oldies Rock & Roll)

  • Saturday, August 8: Kirk Brown Blues Band (Blues)

  • Saturday, August 22: Denzil & Jonathan (Classic Rock)

  • Saturday, September 5: Hendrix, Craig & Kennedy Band (Classic Rock)

  • Saturday, September 19: Cover Charged (Rock & Roll)

Along with financial support, Veterans of the Ozarks helps provide veterans some valuable fellowship, so share the word with veterans you know who may need connection. The group also coordinates quarterly QPR (“Question, Persuade, Refer”) suicide prevention training; and provides much-appreciated Honor Guards for area military funerals.

Bring your lawn chairs and come ready to have a good time. Food and beverages are available for purchase at concerts, or support one of the local restaurants on the sponsor list. (There’s no charge to attend concerts, but tips are welcomed to help show your appreciation for the bands and sponsors.) Follow the VOTO Facebook page for updates if inclement weather occurs, and to learn more about other VOTO events.
