A popular holiday shopping event is scheduled to return November 20, 21 and 22 to the Convention Center in downtown Branson. Hometown Market Days is expected to draw visitors from around the area as it marks its 10th anniversary of bringing people together, supporting small businesses and creating lasting memories.

What started in 2016 as a mother-daughter duo’s love for the “thrill of the find” and a vision to create something more than an ordinary craft show, has grown into a beloved Christmas tradition for many, including some who travel five or more hours for the unique shopping experience filled with Christmas cheer.

Co-produced by mother-daughter team Mary Engram and Janna Gordon, Hometown Market Days has become a popular destination for shoppers to find unique items, beautifully curated displays and an atmosphere that is worth the drive.

“We wanted a place where people could gather, discover incredible small businesses and enjoy an experience they would look forward to year after year,” said Janna Gordon. “Seeing that dream become part of so many families’ Christmas traditions has been one of our greatest joys.”

Some shoppers plan an entire Branson getaway around the event, enjoying local restaurants and entertainment. For some, it’s an annual girlfriends’ weekend; for others, it’s a mother-daughter tradition or special family outing that extends well beyond shopping. "They plan their trips, invite their favorite people and count down the days,” shared Gordon. “Knowing our event brings visitors to Branson while creating special moments together means so much to us.”

Known for its carefully selected vendors and creative displays, Hometown Market Days offers handmade goods, vintage treasures, home décor, jewelry, clothing, Christmas decorations, specialty foods and one-of-a-kind gifts. Unlike traditional craft fairs, the event emphasizes presentation, atmosphere and the overall experience.

"We've always believed the details matter," said Mary Engram. "We want shoppers to feel like they've stepped into something special. We want them to discover things they love, meet the people behind the products and have a wonderful time doing it."

At the heart of Hometown Market Days are the entrepreneurs, makers and small business owners whose creativity and hard work make the event possible. Over the past decade, the show has given them opportunities to grow their brands and connect with shoppers across the region.

"Every booth represents someone's dream," Gordon said. "When people shop small, they're supporting real families and businesses."

As Branson welcomes visitors for its spectacular Christmas season, Hometown Market Days invites both longtime shoppers and first-time guests to celebrate this special 10th anniversary milestone. For updates as you’re planning your outing, visit Facebook @hometownmarketdays.
