Creation Museum Internship Program accepting spring enrollees

Creation Museum of the Ozarks is excited to announce that enrollment is now open for their 2026 Spring Internships. The program is designed for high school students who want to grow in their knowledge of how the Bible is in harmony with true science, while learning practical skills to have an impact on God’s kingdom by sharing that knowledge with others.

Internships are designed for students ages 14-17. All materials are provided. Interns meet with their instructor from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. each Wednesday, starting April 15, to complete modules and receive assignments. During the internship, students will have the opportunity to work in the CMOTO fossil lab, learning to excavate fossils from field jackets and how to properly prepare them for preservation and display.

Today’s young people are often inundated, by multiple sources, with a worldview that undermines the authority of the Bible, with evolution commonly portrayed as objective reality. This leads many to view the Bible as just a collection of stories, when in fact, true science supports a Biblical worldview. A Creation Experience internship is a wonderful opportunity to build confidence in the Bible.

To graduate from the internship, celebrated with a ceremony and certificate, students must complete all modules and verbally demonstrate the ability to communicate the information to others. Several former interns have chosen to continue the experience as a museum volunteer, or to pursue a career path in Creation-based science; but most importantly, the internship is an encouraging atmosphere that equips young people to give solid answers for their faith.

Registration deadline for the Spring Internship is April 10. For additional information or to register, visit https://creationexperiencemuseum.com/volunteer/internship-contact-form/ or call 417-561-0750.

The Creation Experience Museum is currently located at 4180 U.S. Hwy. 65, Walnut Shade, just north of the large cross via the outer road at the Hwy. 160 exit. Regular hours of operation are Wednesday through Saturday, with tours available from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; for groups of 15 or more, visit the website to book your tour in advance. The bookstore is open until 5 p.m. with a great selection of fun and educational materials for all ages.
