Branson's Titanic Museum Attraction is once again adorned in pink this month, in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.
A giant pink ribbon, the universally recognized symbol for breast cancer, graces the side of Branson's Titanic, easily seen from 76 Country Boulevard. Additionally, the museum's front yard holds a flock of pink flamingos, each bearing the name of a Titanic survivor who later succumbed to the disease of cancer, seven from breast cancer.
Inside the ship, crew members each wear a pink ribbon pin to show honor and offer support and on the Survivors' Wall, those who lost their lives to cancer are also honored with a pink ribbon beside his or her name.
The touching Titanic tribute will be on display throughout the remainder of October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The Branson Titanic Museum Attraction is located at 3235 West 76 Country Boulevard in Branson. Hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. The attraction features a self-guided tour and many interactive exhibits, allowing guests to learn firsthand the history of Titanic.
