Branson gears up for its first National Harley-Davidson H.O.G. Rally

Branson is getting ready for something truly special this September: the Harley-Davidson National Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) Rally. The Rally will be in Historic Downtown Branson September 10, 2026, through September 13, 2026. It is a partnership between Mighty Loud, Full Throttle Distillery, Harley-Davidson, the Branson Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and CVB, and the City of Branson. The Branson Board of Aldermen approved a resolution for the granting of a Special Use Permit for the Rally at its February 24, 2026, meeting.

Heather Hermen, senior vice president and chief marketing and communications officer of the Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce & CVB, said, “If you are picturing a rowdy crowd with loud, revving engines, think again. This event is bringing a respectful, loyal and deeply patriotic community to Branson. These Harley-Davidson riders invest at least $30,000 in their motorcycles, and are an established group with a profound love for their country and our veterans. Most importantly, they perfectly align with Branson’s core community values of faith, family and the flag.”

Hermen believes the financial impact of this gathering is going to be massive for local businesses as they enjoy everything Branson has to offer. She said, “When discussing the economic benefits, planners note that the average visitor to Branson spends about $320 per day. When you multiply that by the 7,500 expected attendees staying for at least four nights, the conservative estimate comes out to a staggering $7.9 million. And that is just the baseline.”

“You can already see the excitement and demand building. There are 1,000 hotel rooms currently contracted all across Branson, from the historic downtown area to Highway 76. Because attendees will be staying for three to four nights, those rooms translate into thousands of actual overnight stays,” she adds. And that’s not all; she points out that local campgrounds and RV parks will also be bustling. Many of these H.O.G. members love to travel in beautiful motor coach buses or high-end RVs, pulling custom trailers that can sometimes hold up to a million dollars’ worth of motorcycles. Another thing Hermen is excited about is the exact time the Rally is taking place. Instead of cramming the event into the already busy Labor Day weekend, planners strategically chose the week right after.

That specific week is historically one of the slowest times of the year because kids are back in school and people have returned to work. Bringing this massive event to town during this notoriously quiet week gives a much-needed financial boost to local shops and restaurants. It also beautifully aligns with the 25th anniversary of 9/11, which falls on that Friday. The H.O.G. group plans to thoughtfully honor the day with a moment of silence, while also taking the time to celebrate why they believe the United States is the greatest country on earth.

Heather points out that this event goes beyond just an incredible economic boost for Branson during a slow week. She’s excited because it’s going to be a fun, welcoming experience for the whole community. She encourages locals to head downtown to check out the amazing Harley-Davidson motorcycles, shop, enjoy a cold drink outside, and grab a bite to eat. A stage set up at 111 Atlantic will feature fantastic live music all day long from Thursday through Saturday.

She said that one of the most exciting things is that Harley-Davidson does not just want this to be a one-time visit. Their ultimate goal is to make this Rally a permanent, annual signature event for downtown Branson, bringing this wonderful group back to the Ozarks year after year.
