Branson author releases special children’s book

A local author has released another book—this one in honor of America's 250th birthday.

Angie Roberts Harris introduced her newest children’s book, “Happy Semiquincentennial,” to the world last week. The book shares with children the people, ideas, freedoms and inventions that helped shape America. It celebrates America's inventors, innovators and heroes of liberty, teaches children about the freedoms we all enjoy and shares fun historical facts. “Happy Semiquincentennial” also encourages young readers to dream big and become America's future leaders.
