Black Tie Gala Award winners announced

The Annual Black Tie Gala is one of Branson's most exquisite and anticipated nights. The Branson Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau, Chamber members and community leaders came together to honor some of Branson's own Friday night for the 2025 Gala, held at the Branson Convention Center. It was a night of fine dining, fellowship and celebration.

Each year, a number of prestigious awards are presented to the community's most deserving individuals, businesses and leaders who leave a lasting impact on the Branson area.

The Care for Kids Award recognizes individuals or organizations who show a commitment to the wellbeing and care of children in the community. The 2025 Care for Kids Award was presented to Camp Barnabas, a ministry dedicated to providing a unique Christian summer camp experience to individuals with special needs and their siblings.

The Beautification Award is awarded to a person or organization that has improved the appearance of the Branson/Lakes Area, enhancing the quality of life for the community. This year's Beautification Award was given to the City of Branson for their outstanding work on the Historic Downtown Revitalization project.

The Ambassador Award is reserved for a person who has a true passion for the Branson/Lakes Area, and who has furthered the mission of telling Branson's story to our visitors. The recipient of the Ambassador Award was Craig Wescott of Five Star Parks and Attractions, which offers a wide variety of family-friendly entertainment.

The Community Spirit Award is presented to the person or business that has shown outstanding character within the last two years, going above and beyond to benefit others. Branson Fire Chief Ted Martin was the recipient of the Community Spirit Award. Martin, who has served as chief since 2012, recently announced his retirement.

The coveted Mary Award recognizes a person whose actions align with the legacies of Mary Herschend and Mary Trimble, for whom the award is named—someone who exemplifies the Ozarks values and demonstrates outstanding service to mankind and the community. The Mary Award was presented to Scottie Earls, who with her husband, owned a string of radio stations in Branson and the Ozarks for many years.

The Pioneer Award honors a distinguished individual whose past achievements have enriched the lives of people in the Branson/Lakes Area—Tony Orlando, a legendary entertainer and long-time Branson performer who still calls the lakes area home.

The President's Award is given to a person who exhibits exceptional leadership, community service and commitment to the community.  The honor went to John Baltes, former President of the Silver Dollar City Foundation.

Congratulations to all of the Black Tie Gala Award winners.
