Area veterans to benefit from car show event

The Shoppes at Branson Meadows was the site of a special event to honor veterans on Saturday, with the annual Veterans Appreciation Car Show.

The weather was mild and many joined in the festivities that included music, raffles, a bounce house, games and activities, food trucks, vendors and free food for the veterans in attendance.  There were also sidewalk sales with a variety of exciting offerings.

Many cars, trucks and motorcycles were on display, with awards presented in a number of categories, including Muscle Cars, Street Rods, Resto Mods/Modified Cars, Original Trucks, Modified Trucks, Jeeps/4x4 Trucks, Corvettes, Imports, Motorcycles and more.

Proceeds from the fun-filled day will be used to help area veterans and their families.
