Winners announced for BGSSA

The Branson Gospel Singer Songwriter Association held their annual awards show this past weekend. It was a full house as gospel artists, songwriters and those who help out behind the scenes were honored at the 23rd Annual Gospel Awards Show.
This year's Female Vocalist was Amanda Rose Vandiver.
Jim Blakey was awarded Male Vocalist of the Year.
The Group of the Year was The Hills.
The award for Instrumentalist of the Year went to Jeni Hill.
Jeni Hill was also honored to take home the award for the Golden Pen Songwriter of the Year.
Paul D. Rauch was the recipient of the Special Talent Award.
The Interpretive Sign Language Award was given to Tracy Deskin.
The award for Comedian of the Year was given to Benny Bennett.
The DK Brewster Spirit Award was presented to Dale Brown.
The Gospel Song of the Year was "Revival" by Jim Blakey.
Jeni Hill was the recipient of the prestigious Gospel Artist of the Year.
Several New Horizon Awards were also presented on Saturday evening.
The New Horizon Female Vocalist was Kim Douglas, and Doc Diamond was named New Horizon Male Vocalist.
The New Horizon Group of the Year was The Gilliams.
Michael John Krynak was honored to be named New Horizon Songwriter of the Year.
Many Helping Hands Awards and Appreciation Awards were also given out.
The BGSSA offers their heartfelt gratitude to the evening's award presenters and special guests, including Eddie Stovall, Terry Wayne Sanders, Teresa and Dale Rauch, Shelia Yeary, Dr. Paul Collins and wife Nancy. Special presentations via video were made by radio announcer Charles Brady, entertainer Randy Brooks, Chuck Bryant of Branson Gospel TV and Branson Gospel Radio, and Roy Young of ALG Television Network.
