Branson has long been known as the Live Music Show Capital of the World, and entertainers are often seeking a new location for their show. Branson residents and visitors are familiar with the many theaters and performance venues that line 76 Country Boulevard and the Shepherd of the Hills Expressway. Theaters are situated on Branson's Expressway Lane and Historic Highway 165. Downtown Branson is also home to well-known show places.
Did you know that there are also two unique venues for live entertainment within the Shoppes at Branson Meadows? Located on Gretna Road, the Shoppes at Branson Meadows is home to two performance venues, both of which host popular Branson shows.
The Main Stage and Event Center, located at The Shoppes at Branson Meadows is home to three well-known shows. The venue, 33,000 square feet in size, includes eight meeting rooms and a kitchen area. The event center is the perfect location for conferences, classes, trade shows and a wide variety of events. Inside the event center is a beautiful 540-seat theater. While the theater is available to those scheduling events, it is also the venue that three of Branson's favorite entertainers call home.
Keith Allynn headlines his popular show, A Neil Diamond Tribute, at the venue's Main Stage Theater. The talented Diana Lynn also calls the Main Stage home, with the incomparable Carpenters Once More show.
Master Illusionist Taylor Reed recently teamed up with the Main Stage and Event Center, now home to The Magic of Taylor Reed, back in Branson this year after a short break, during which Reed took his one-of-a-kind show on the road.
Near the Main State and Event Center, also in The Shoppes at Branson Meadows, is The Showroom. A long-time performance venue, The Showroom was formerly known as the Tower Theatre and later the Sun Showroom. Now under the leadership of Matthew Boyce Entertainment, The Showroom features comfortable stadium-style seating, special ticket prices for locals and even discounted rates for return guests.
A large number of live shows are now appearing at The Showroom, including Melody Hart and the All Star Band, British Invasion, A Garth Tribute, The Best of Motown, Story of a King, Classic Rock Icons, Rock N Roll Sunrise, Johnny Cash and Friends, Listen to the Music - The Morace Family, Back in Time, Honky Tonk Heartland and coming this holiday season - Retro Christmas.
Tickets for any of the shows at The Showroom are available at the box office, which is open daily, or online at www.theshowroombranson.com.
The Shoppes at Branson Meadows is located at 4600 Gretna Road in Branson.
