BHS Girls Tennis wrapped up an outstanding season filled with hard work and impressive accomplishments:

  • All-Conference: Ellice Kembell

  • OMC Tournament: Team finished second overall

  • Districts: Ellice Kembell captured the Singles District Championship and advanced to compete at State

  • Doubles: Chloe Bunce & Lainey Woodard earned third place

  • Singles: Claire Cofer placed fourth

In a heartfelt tradition, Branson senior football players took part in My Jersey, Your Impact - a special moment where each senior selected an educator or staff member who has made a lasting difference in their life. These students presented their mentor with their football jersey to wear for the day and shared a personal letter expressing the impact they've had on their journey.

Two Hollister teens honored at National Convention

Two young women representing Hollister High School received their American FFA Degrees during the 98th Annual FFA National Convention.

Mahali Loftis and Jaidyn Girdley, both graduates of Hollister High School, were awarded their American FFA Degrees in a special ceremony during the recent convention held in Indianapolis, Indiana.  

 

The American FFA Degree is the highest degree achievable within the FFA organization and is awarded to members who demonstrate exceptional commitment to the FFA, excel in their agricultural program and exhibit outstanding leadership skills, academic excellence and community involvement.

 

Less than one percent of FFA members attain the prestigious American FFA Degree.

REEDS SPRING SCHOOLS


Reeds Spring School District invites veterans to presentation on November 7


Reeds Spring Middle School will hold a Veterans Assembly on Friday, November 7, to honor those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. All veterans and their families are welcome to attend. The event will begin with a reception featuring coffee and pastries at 8:30 a.m., followed by the program at 9 a.m. Veterans are asked to RSVP by calling RSMS at 417-272-8245.  


Two Reeds Springs runners qualify for State on Nov. 7


Max Hirschi and Connor Love will represent Reeds Spring High School at the Class 3 Cross Country State Championship. Hirschi placed 11th at the district meet, and Love finished 19th. The state championship will be held on Friday, November 7, in Columbia.

CheerleadingThe RSHS cheerleaders placed fourth in their class at the Missouri Cheerleading Coaches Association State Championship.

FootballThe Wolves season ended in the opening round of the district tournament, falling to Cassville 52-0.

Reeds Spring singers named to All-District Choir


Eleven Reeds Spring High School choir members earned spots in the All-District Honor Choir Ensemble. Congratulations to Gracie Price, Samara Lillie, Emma Wooley, Morgan Nicholls, Mikayla Baker, Brennan Bilberry, Wyatt Coursey, Landon Munhollon, Calvin Waters, Malacki McGregor and Colbie Cypret.Landon Munhollon was also named First Honorable Mention for All-State Choir.


Reeds Spring School District Excellence Awards



Each month, the Reeds Spring School District recognizes one non-teaching staff member and one certified teacher as Excellence Award winners. The winners for October are Twilla Clark and Philip Dougherty. Clark is a paraprofessional at Reeds Spring Elementary School, and Dougherty is a social studies teacher and coach at Reeds Spring High School.The district accepts Excellence Award nominations from students, staff, parents, and community members. Reeds Spring Middle School H.O.W.L Awards


Reeds Spring Middle School recently recognized students who displayed Habits of Work and Learning (H.O.W.L.).One of those habits is adaptability. Congratulations to the following students:Abri Climer, Edie Jones, Raina Moses, Aurora Phillips, Addison Pickerill, Wren Stever and Zoey Viola.
