The Shepherd of the Hills to honor former cast members at Hall of Fame inductee celebration, October 18

The Shepherd of the Hills proudly announces the inaugural Shepherd of the Hills Hall of Fame induction ceremony which recognizes past cast members Linda Donavant, Gary Mulkey and Rick Shields, who have contributed to the enduring legacy of the historic outdoor drama. The induction will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 2 p.m. in the Playhouse Theatre, 5586 W. 76 Country Blvd, Branson.

Now in its 65th consecutive season in 2025, The Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor Drama has been a cornerstone of Branson’s live entertainment tradition, bringing to life Harold Bell Wright’s timeless story of love, forgiveness and the spirit of the Ozarks. The Hall of Fame honors the performers, directors and behind-the-scenes contributors whose dedication and artistry have shaped one of America’s longest-running outdoor productions.

“Our Hall of Fame celebration is about honoring the people who have kept this story alive across generations,” said Jeff Johnson, General Manager of The Shepherd of the Hills. “Their passion for storytelling and connection to this community are what make The Shepherd of the Hills drama so special.”

Friends, family and members of the public are invited to join in honoring and reconnecting with former cast and crew of The Shepherd of the Hills, and celebrating this milestone in Branson’s entertainment history. Admission is free for the 2 p.m. ceremony. Tickets to enjoy the 8 p.m. performance can be purchased at www.theshepherdofthehills.com.
