The Presley Family: Celebrating 59 years of music and comedy

One of the most popular music shows in Branson celebrates 59 years of providing live entertainment to Branson visitors. Presleys' Country Jubilee opened their theater in 1967—the first live music theater on Branson's 76 Country Boulevard.

Before arriving in Branson, the Presley family had a long history of performing underground in Missouri's caves and caverns. The shows drew such large crowds that the Presleys had to seek other venues in which to perform. The family purchased 10 acres of land on Highway 76, a quiet two-lane road, outside of Branson's city limits, and opened their new theater. Soon the Presleys were a huge hit, as people lined up every night to hear their unique style of country and gospel music.

Before long, other theaters began opening along Branson's 76, and the town became known as a music mecca, with not only country stars, but well known entertainers of all types. Many of those entertainers—Boxcar Willie, Mel Tillis, Andy Williams, Roy Clark, Mickey Gilley, Shoji Tabuchi, and more have sadly passed away. Others, such as Jim Stafford, Bobby Vinton, Ray Stevens, Moe Bandy, The Osmonds, The Oak Ridge Boys, Wayne Newton, etc. have since retired or relocated. But the Presley family remains, with a show that has become a Branson tradition.

Today, in their state-of-the-art theater, the Presley family continue to amaze audiences with a one-of-a-kind show that combines country, gospel and bluegrass music with true Ozarks-style comedy, in a show that is popular with all ages.

The Presleys have entertained Branson audiences for nearly six decades and continue to be one of the area's most talked-about shows. Four generations of entertainers have taken the stage in this truly memorable production. In addition to their Branson performances, the Presley Family can also be found sharing their music and comedy with audiences worldwide, on RFD TV. Their shows air several times each week.

The Presleys’ Country Jubilee is a must-see for Branson residents and visitors alike. Presleys' Country Jubilee is located at 2929 West 76 Country Boulevard in Branson. Showtimes are Monday through Saturday, 8 p.m. For tickets or more information, visit Presleys.com or call their box office at 417-334-4874.
