The emperor is not wearing any clothes

People all around the world are familiar with the children’s story, “The Emperor's New Clothes,” written by Hans Christian Andersen. The tale is about an emperor who was known for his lavish spending on clothing. Two thieves, pretending to be weavers, offered to make the emperor luxurious clothing that would only be visible to people of superior intellect. The gullible emperor agreed to hire the con men. The men set up their looms and pretended to go to work. They requested beautiful, expensive material and thread to use in making the garments. They then hid these valuable materials and pretended to work with invisible materials. Government officials were periodically sent to check on the progress of the weavers. Rather than be thought of as stupid and unfit for their position, each government official claimed to see beautiful articles of clothing as described by the thieves.
When the imposter weavers announced that they had finished their task, the emperor, not wanting to appear a simpleton in front of his officials (who said they could see the clothing), praised the finished product. The con men then pretended to dress the emperor in the invisible clothing. A procession to show off the emperor’s beautiful new set of clothes to the town’s people began. Not wanting to appear lacking in intelligence, people of the town went along with the farce. The emperor MUST be wearing beautiful clothing. Everyone else claims to see it. But suddenly a child in his innocence honestly shouted out, “The emperor is wearing no clothes!” People of the town began to realize that they had been persuaded to accept what common sense denied. Rather than accept humiliation, the emperor continued on with his public display of ignorance. He obviously held the popular position that, “If you never admit to being wrong, and if you can convince people to go along, then your claim has credibility” even when it flies in the face of violating fact and common sense.
In today’s world it has become popular to deny fact and common sense, simply because of who is violating it as well as how many people are violating it. Also, it has become acceptable to violate fact and common sense based upon someone claiming to be offended or having their feelings hurt.
One area today in which fact and common sense is being ignored is human sexuality. Some may accuse me of speaking out against transgenderism, non-binarism and homosexuality simply for religious reasons. Granted, God’s teaching on any subject is the only authority on that subject. And for those who believe in God and His holy book, sources containing contradictory information are erroneous. God did not create a world where men might discover they were living in a woman’s body. Neither would any woman discover they were in a man’s body. The Bible plainly teaches that God created a man and a woman (Gen. 3:21-25). Also, The Bible teaches that God did not create man or woman to be attracted to the same sex. Such activity is condemned in the Bible (1 Cor. 6:9; Rom. 1:26-27). God only condemns what man can control. Therefore, a person is not born that way. It is a learned behavior.
But for those who have no belief or respect in God or His word, I will eliminate religion from the discussion and still have proof of the same conclusion purely by fact and common sense. Fact: that which has been proven to be true never has to be proven to be true again.
Lawrence S. Mayer and Paul R. McHugh wrote a research paper titled “Sexuality and Gender: Findings from the Biological, Psychological, and Social Sciences.” Include in their findings are the following facts:
“The hypothesis that gender identity is an innate, fixed property of human beings that is independent of biological sex, that a person might be ‘a man trapped in a woman’s body’ or ‘a woman trapped in a man’s body’ is not supported by scientific evidence.”
Concerning sexual orientation, they also reported that “The understanding of sexual orientation as an innate, biologically fixed property of human beings; the idea that people are ‘born that way,’ is not supported by scientific evidence.”
Before you begin discounting the findings of this report you should look up the credentials of the men involved in the study.
Words have been invented to supposedly prove perverted beliefs and behaviors as normal. These made-up words and terms contradict scientific fact and violate common sense. One such word is “non-binary.” It has been defined as “an umbrella term for gender identities that fall outside of the traditional binary of male and female, encompassing a wide range of experiences, including those who identify as both, neither, or somewhere in between” (Google AI).
There is no such thing as a non-binary person. Stop giving the lie credibility by using made-up terms! We are being told to believe that the emperor DOES have on clothes. But we can still see him standing before us only in his underwear.
Boys are boys and girls are girls. There is no in-between. A person may proudly proclaim, “I am transgender!” People may flock to their side and also shout, “Yes, they are transgender.” Parades may be organized by government officials to allow the participants to “show off” their pretend sexuality. Many people have believed the ludicrous proclamations simply because of who, and how many others, repeat the lie. But everyone with common sense should continue to boldly and unashamedly oppose error and proclaim the obvious truth; The emperor is not wearing any clothes!
