Get ready, Swifties! Elizabeth Burnett, the acclaimed Taylor Swift tribute artist, is returning to the Pepsi Legends Theater in Branson, Missouri, for a special one-performance engagement on December 28, 2025, at 2 p.m. This will be her final U.S. appearance before departing for Australia, where she will perform a Taylor Swift tribute as part of the Legends in Concert’s eighth electrifying season at The Palms at Crown in Melbourne from January 8-24, 2026.
The show, titled “A Tribute to Taylor Swift (Legends’ Version),” is a full-length legendary celebration of Taylor Swift’s music and magic. Elizabeth and Legends in Concert have worked incredibly hard to create a “world-class show that mirrors her Eras Tour” experience, especially for fans who might not have had the chance to attend the original tour.
What can you expect? Kelly Neil, who traveled to London and saw Taylor Swift perform the “Eras Concert” live, got to see “A Tribute to Taylor Swift (Legends’ Version), when Elizabeth performed a one-performance engagement in Branson on July 4, 2025. Kelly said, “She did a great job with the vocals of the songs she performed. Her performance is energetic, like Taylor Swift’s was at the Eras Tour in London with my daughters. I enjoyed the way she interacted with the crowd. She was especially attentive to the young fans in attendance. She even took time to take pictures with them after the show.”
In an interview on November 24, 2025, Elizabeth said the December show will be basically the same as the Eras show was earlier this year in Branson, except for a few “new surprises.” When I asked what the surprises were, she laughed and said, “If I told you that it wouldn’t be a surprise.” However, she reminded me that Taylor Swift has released a new album, “Life of a Showgirl.” Anyone want to bet where the surprises will come from?
When you step into the theater, prepare for a fun-filled dance party where fans of all ages are encouraged to sing and dance along to all their favorite songs. This high-energy performance features Elizabeth alongside a dynamic live band and dancers. The team at Legends in Concert Branson also adds “exciting extras” to the production.
Swifties can look forward to hearing favorite Taylor classics and new favorites, including a version of “All Too Well” where Elizabeth plays guitar. A favorite part of the current performance for Elizabeth is the acoustic set: her, her guitar and the audience. After the curtain closes, she loves getting to meet everyone who attends and makes sure they have the chance for photos.
Elizabeth’s journey as a tribute artist began far from the bright lights of Branson and Las Vegas. Hailing from Charleston, South Carolina, her lifelong admiration for Taylor Swift started early. When she was just 12 years old, she heard Taylor Swift’s debut single, “Tim McGraw,” on the radio, and that moment sparked her career path.
She first performed publicly at a school Halloween Carnival, singing “You Belong With Me” and “Love Story.” She started out playing “Love Story” using just four chords on an old guitar she took from her church on non-returning grounds. It was an old guitar without strings that had been in a closet for over a year. She took it, sanded it down, covered it in silver glitter to make it look just like Taylor Swift’s famous diamond guitar, and then restrung it.
She turned professional after doing gigs like kids’ birthday parties and nursing homes. She created a Facebook page to market her skills, which eventually led to a life-changing call from Legends in Concert in Myrtle Beach in early 2014. Her very first professional performance took place during spring break 2014 at BorderFest in Hidalgo, Texas.
After graduating from the University of South Carolina in May 2015 with a degree in Public Relations and a minor in Spanish, Elizabeth’s career took off. She toured with Legends in Concert, completing a run in Branson in 2015, and then performing for five months in Las Vegas.
Following her initial touring success, Elizabeth took a significant break from regular performing. She explained that life presented an opportunity for her to take a break due to getting married, focusing on her family, and the global COVID pandemic, which disrupted live entertainment for a period.
During this time, she was blessed to have two children back-to-back: a son, Lucas, who is three, and a daughter, Lydia, who is two. Her husband’s name is Walt Burnett. In a sweet nod to the music that shaped her life, her daughter’s middle name, Ivy, is inspired by another one of her favorite Taylor Swift songs.
Elizabeth returned to regular performance in early 2025. Before her return to Branson, she performed successful, sold-out shows at the Newberry Opera House near her hometown in Newberry, South Carolina, with her own band.
As noted above, she is back on the Legends circuit, working with Legends nationwide and specifically with Jeannie and Rob Horton in Branson. Elizabeth says that she really enjoys performing in Branson because it’s a neat place with a special character and a small-town feel.
Her return to the stage means fans can once again celebrate the magic of Taylor Swift through her heartfelt tribute.
