What does the art of crochet have to do with social media safety? There’s a great way to find out: Join Nikki of Pathways Project Coalition for “Stitch and Stay Safe,” a three-part summer workshop where you’ll learn to crochet with your hands, no tools needed, while also learning valuable tips for safely navigating social media in 2026!

Designed for ages 12-plus, this FREE workshop series offers a unique opportunity for teens and adults to learn together, spark meaningful conversations, and build real-world social media skills, all while creating a cozy, handmade blanket. This will be a fun, hands-on experience where creativity, connection and digital safety awareness come together; and at the end of the workshop, you’ll not only have skills to help keep you safe, you’ll also have a wonderful reminder of those connections!
This fun and valuable workshop will take place at the Stone County Library, 322 W. St. Hwy. 248 in Galena, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on June 28, July 12 and July 26. Seating is limited, so check your calendar and use the QR Code to register, or contact nikki@pathwaysprojectmo.org with any questions.
