Song of Hope Museum to hold open house

Branson's Song of Hope Museum is holding an open house. The event will mark the beginning of Branson's Founders' Week, which celebrates the entertainers—both families and individuals—who laid the foundation of Branson's musical legacy.

Visitors are welcome to visit the Song of Hope Museum at any time between the hours of 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. during the April 28 open house. A special guided tour, hosted by Song of Hope founder Marshall Howden, will begin at 11 a.m.

"We invite our community and visitors alike to experience one of our region's most unique collections dedicated to the history of Branson's live music shows," explained Marshall Howden. "Located in the historic red schoolhouse at Coffelt Country Craft Village, the museum preserves the stories, performers and traditions that helped shape Branson into the Live Music Show Capital of the World."

Admission is free, and the public is encouraged to attend the open house on Tuesday, April 28. The Song of Hope Museum is located at 673 Highway 165, Branson, inside the Coffelt Country Craft Village.

"Come be a part of preserving and celebrating the music, history and spirit of Branson," said Howden.
