Rick McEwen is a veteran entertainer, having performed in Branson for more than three decades.

Rick has the privilege of performing a special show that pays tribute to another Branson favorite. In his show "The Gambler—A Tribute to Kenny Rogers," McEwen delights audiences with the songs that fans remember and love.

With a voice similar to Rogers, McEwen brings the musical legend back to the stage, performing the country hits, crossovers and duets that made Rogers a legend. With songs like "Lucille,", "Ruby," "Daytime Friends." "Islands in the Stream," "The Gambler" and many more, Rogers' musical career spanned more than six decades. He was also a gifted actor and a sound businessman. Well known in the Branson area, Rogers co-owned and headlined shows at The Grand Palace in the early to mid-1990s.

In addition to sounding like the entertainer he emulates, McEwen's look is reminiscent of the musical superstar and he has the same humor, warmth, charisma and storytelling ability that made Rogers a fan favorite.

McEwen's show is more than just a tribute to Kenny Rogers, it is a celebration of the man and his music, performed with deep respect for Rogers.

McEwen recently performed a VIP show where ticket sellers, front line workers, and business owners and operators attending the performance gave McEwen outstanding reviews.

McEwen performs "The Gambler—A Tribute to Kenny Rogers" at The Americana Theater, located at 2905 West 78 Country Boulevard. Show times are currently Sundays and Tuesdays at 2:00 pm, but in August, McEwen will make a slight change in his performance schedule, with shows at 2 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, August through December. For tickets or more information, contact The Americana Theater at 417-544-8700.
