New haunted attraction comes to Branson
There is a new attraction in Branson, just in time for Halloween.
Field of Screams celebrated their grand opening last weekend at Ballparks of America on Branson's Pat Nash Drive, offering safe but scary fun for all ages. More than just a haunted house, Field of Screams Branson is a new indoor haunted attraction—the first indoor site for the Field of Screams brand. Field of Screams Branson kicks off with an attraction called "9th Inning Nightmare," inside a building that once housed Branson's Red Roof Mall, with proven scares and amazing actors.
The haunted attraction begins this year in a space of approximately 40,000 square feet, with plans to more than double to 100,000 square feet within the next few years. Ballparks of America is also offering Zombie laser tag, escape rooms and mini golf to complement the fun of Field of Screams.
The original Field of Screams is located in Nixa, at 2142 North Sports Complex Lane. Also open for the 2026 season, the Nixa location will offer an entirely different experience than Field of Screams Branson.
Field of Screams is open throughout the Halloween season, to local individuals and families, and out-of-the-area visitors, and they promise everyone will be treated to an unforgettable experience. Field of Screams 9th Inning Nightmare can be visited October 8-11, 15-18, 22-25 and 29-31. Hours are 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Thursdays and Sundays, and 7 p.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Following the Halloween season, a Halloween/Christmas crossover event will be held select dates in November. The box office opens at 6 p.m. each evening the attraction is open.
Field of Screams is located at 1000 Pat Nash Drive in Branson.
