Lake Taneycomo Elks Lodge announces upcoming community events

In keeping with their mission of service, the Lake Taneycomo Elks Lodge #2597 is proud to invite the community to the following upcoming events: 

●      On Friday, May 8, the Elks will host a Red Cross Community Blood Drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. With someone in the U.S. needing blood every two seconds, donating blood is a small investment of time that can help save lives. To schedule your appointment, call 1-800-RED CROSS (733-2767) or visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter FORSYTH ELKS. The Lodge is located at 12951 U.S. Hwy. 160, Forsyth. 

●      Mark your calendar now for Friday, June 12, at 11:30 a.m., when the Lake Taneycomo Elks will host a Flag Day Ceremony in partnership with the Veterans of the Ozarks Color Guard. This special celebration of the freedoms our flag represents will be held on the “Old Courthouse Front Lawn” at the Taney County Courthouse in Forsyth, with cookies and lemonade to be served following.
