Holiday weekend saw several shows kick off new season

Valentine's weekend served as the opening for several Branson area shows, all of which were met with enthusiastic and eager crowds as they began the 2026 season.
Brett Daniels Pure Magic Show began on Friday night at the Reza Live Theatre. Brett and his cast put on an amazing show, much to the delight of his audiences. Brett Daniels returns to the stage next weekend, with a show set for Saturday. February 21, at 8 p.m.
Riga Tony's Murder Mystery Dinner Show, combining a fabulous meal and an equally amazing show, began their 2026 season last weekend. Shows will be held Thursday, Friday and Saturday of this weekend, February 19, 20 and 21 at 5 p.m., in their theater adjacent to the Clarion on 76 Country Boulevard.
Motown Downtown at the Hot Hits Theater kicked off their 2026 season in style on Valentine's weekend. They will once again dazzle their audiences this weekend, with shows on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
The opening show of the 2026 season was held Saturday at the Shepherd of the Hills Whodunnit Hoedown Dinner Show. If you missed opening night, the cast will take the stage this Saturday at 5 p.m., combining mystery, mayhem and an Ozarks style meal at the Shepherd of the Hills Homestead.
After kicking off Valentine's weekend at the Hughes Brothers Theater, Branson's Famous Baldknobbers will return to the stage for a fabulous 2026 season on March 6. Of their first show, Heather said, "We had the privilege of attending the first show of the Baldknobbers. This show features four vocalists, a crazy comedian and an all-star band. They really know what songs to pick to reach the audience. This show isn't to be missed."
The Haygoods started the 2026 season with a sold-out show for Valentine's weekend. The talented siblings wowed the audiences with tremendous music, amazing vocals and plenty of surprises. The Haygoods’ next show is set for Saturday, February 21, at 7:30 p.m. at the Clay Cooper Theatre.
Stevie Lee Woods and the Nashville Roadhouse Band provided a fun-filled evening, debuting new music—and entertainers—and showcasing some of the best of years' past on Valentine's night. Said one guest, Joey, "What a great turnout for my friends' opening show. They certainly brought the energy with a fantastic show." Stevie Lee Woods added, "Friends, thank you for making opening night such a big success. We had a blast. Thank you!" The next shows for Stevie Lee Woods and cast will be Friday and Saturday, February 20 and 21 at 8 p.m. at Nashville Roadhouse Live Theater.
Legends in Concert performed the second weekend of their new season over Valentine's Day and Presidents Day weekend. Their current schedule has them performing daily except Wednesday, with shows at 3 p.m. on Sundays and 8 p.m. on remaining days. Legends in Concert makes their home at the Pepsi Legends Theatre.
At the Grand Country Music Hall the 2026 season is well underway. Grand Jubilee takes the stage at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday in February, but will add more days beginning in March. Comedy Jamboree currently entertains audiences at 7:30 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays, as well as 3 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday in February, but that schedule is set to change in March. Pets and Giggles will delight audiences on Saturday and Sunday mornings at 10 a.m.
Many current shows will be adding days to their schedule, beginning in March, while many more are scheduled to open soon.
The new season at the Dolly Parton Stampede gets underway on Friday, February 27, with shows to be held each day.
Celebrating 20 years in Branson, SIX begins their 2026 season on Monday, March 2, at the Pepsi Legends Theatre.
March 6 is the opening day for the Amazing Acrobats Grand Shanghai Circus at the Mickey Gilley Grand Shanghai Theatre.
Shows at the Sight and Sound Theatre begin on Saturday, March 7. David will be showing again for the 2026 season, and March 8 is the opening day of the 2026 season for the Clay Cooper Country Express.
