Coffee Creations to host accessibility event, Oct. 24

Coffee Creations and Life Enterprises invite the community to their upcoming event, “A Community of All Abilities,” on Saturday, October 24, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Coffee Creations, 433 Animal Safari Rd., Branson. 

This special inclusion event is co-hosted by one of Coffee Creations’ very own clients, Keegan, in partnership with empower: abilities. “Keegan is an incredible self-advocate who has been working hard to champion inclusivity,” said Dana Pufall, Manager of Employment Services for Coffee Creations and Life Enterprises. This special event will provide wonderful information for the community while celebrating Keegan’s efforts and accomplishments in coordinating the presentations. 

The goal of “A Community of All Abilities” is to promote inclusion and accessibility by jump-starting a shift of perspective from limitations to abilities. This is a fantastic opportunity for local business, community leaders and area residents to connect around supporting an accessible future in the Branson and Southwest Missouri area.

The event will feature guest speakers, live music, art displays and games, as well as showcasing several of the talented individuals involved in Coffee Creations’ training. There will also be special discounts on breakfast and lunch specials and specialty coffee.

For local business partners, informational booths will be available for exploring new technology designed to make businesses more accessible. Implementing these tools can enhance revenue by allowing businesses to reach and serve new customers within the disability community.

Coffee Creations and Life Enterprises would also like to thank those who participated in their recent “Shoot for Possibilities” fundraiser, hosted by Ozark Shooters. Proceeds from the sport shoot and gun raffle will help provide ADA-compliant doors at the coffee shop facility.
