Crain has been with the Presleys since 1996 as part of the Southern Gospel Quartet, plus he sings backup for some of the other entertainers.

He got his start performing with the Navy’s Blue Jacket Choir, moving on to join the Mid-South Boys Quartet in Arkansas in 1976. In the early 1980s he joined the Blackwoods, which took him all around the world as well as performing on television shows such as The 700 Club and PTL.

Crain sang backup for Wayne Newton for many years but says his heart was always with Southern Gospel, so he was happy to join the Presleys in that role. The Presleys’ show can be seen on RFD-TV every Saturday at 8:30 p.m. Central.

Christian Women’s Connection is non-denominational and affiliated with Stonecroft Ministries, sponsoring monthly luncheons in Branson. In December, men are welcome as well. To make reservations, call or text 417-343-1418 by noon on Monday, December 8. Cost is $17 each.
