Branson Parks & Recreation celebrates tournament director’s induction into Missouri Sports Hall of Fame

The Branson Parks & Recreation Department is proud to announce that Tournament Director, Jerry Breaux has been selected for induction into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame, one of the highest honors in the state’s athletic community. This achievement highlights not only his long-standing commitment to sports but also the exceptional caliber of leadership within the Parks Department.

Breaux’s impressive career before joining the team includes three decades coaching collegiate softball at Evangel University, Drury University and Louisiana State-Alexandria, guiding teams to numerous conference titles, national tournament appearances and earning multiple coaching honors, including induction into the Evangel Athletics Hall of Fame.

Since joining the Branson Parks & Recreation Department, Breaux has developed a full slate of major tournaments at the Branson RecPlex, including several high-profile softball events for NCAA Division II/III, NAIA and NJCAA teams from across the country. Tournament organizers from across the region can look to the Branson RecPlex as a trusted, professionally run venue led by nationally respected experts in the sports industry.

The Missouri Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony for Breaux will take place on May 19.
