Community members are stepping up to help the Song of Hope Museum, a local beloved tribute to Branson’s legendary live music scene, after unexpected rent and utility costs threatened its future. The museum has spent years preserving memorabilia, stories and memories from the performers and shows that helped make Branson a nationally recognized entertainment destination. Now, after the building housing the museum began charging rent, organizers say they are struggling to cover basic expenses. They’ve set up a GoFundMe to help cover the museum’s urgent needs:

“Recently, we've encountered an unexpected challenge. The building that houses our museum has started charging us rent, which has put a strain on our ability to keep the doors open. In addition to rent, we need to cover electricity costs to ensure our exhibits remain accessible and welcoming to visitors. Without support, we risk losing a vital piece of Branson's cultural history,” the GoFundMe reads.

By contributing to the GoFundMe fundraiser, you can make a difference. Please help keep the story of Branson’s music shows alive by donating at: https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-keep-bransons-music-story-alive
