Big Cedar announces 2026 Wellness in Nature Retreat, book early

Nestled in the Ozark Mountains overlooking Table Rock Lake, Big Cedar Lodge announces its 2026 Wellness in Nature Retreat, inviting guests to escape the everyday and discover renewal. This multi-day experience helps participants start the new year with holistic wellness through yoga, meditation, tai chi, intention-setting workshops and restorative seasonal activities—including fireside evenings, whimsical Christmas light tours and a sound bath concert.
Guests will also have the opportunity to learn from leading experts in the wellness field, including the following:
● Dan Buettner – National Geographic Explorer and multiple New York Times bestselling author. He discovered the five places in the world – dubbed blue zones – where people live the longest, healthiest lives. His work has been featured in The New York Times Magazine and National Geographic, where his stories are among the most popular ever published.
● Dr. Rhonda Patrick – Scientist and health educator recognized for her leadership in aging and disease prevention. As the founder of FoundMyFitness, she provides evidence-based insights to a global audience through her website and podcast. On YouTube, she engages millions through in-depth discussions on evidence-based strategies for improving health span.
● Liz Baker Plosser – Former Editor-in-Chief of Women’s Health and a veteran of the wellness industry, she has held senior strategy and content roles at Well+Good, SoulCycle, SELF and Cosmopolitan. She appears regularly as a speaker and is a frequent guest on national television and podcasts. She is author of the book, “Own Your Morning: Reset Your A.M to Unlock Your Potential.”
The 2026 Nature in Wellness Retreat will be held January 8–11, 2026, at Big Cedar Lodge, Ridgedale, Missouri. Book early and save now through November 1. Attendees must have overnight accommodations at Big Cedar Lodge, Camp Long Creek, Payne’s Valley Cottages, Angler’s Lodge Hollister, or Wilderness Club.
