Arvest Bank has announced an initiative to better serve its Spanish-speaking customers and communities by establishing a network of dedicated bilingual branches.
The initiative will begin with two existing branches located in Springdale, Ark., and Lawton, Okla., and a new branch currently under construction in Kansas City, Kan. All three branches will provide a more inclusive and accessible environment for Spanish-speaking individuals with additional Spanish-language resources and a team of bilingual associates who can assist customers with a full range of banking services.
“At Arvest, we are dedicated to fostering a culture of belonging where everyone feels seen, heard and understood,” said Cinthya Allen, Arvest Chief Engagement Officer. “Our bilingual branch initiative is an extension of that commitment. When we remove language barriers, we are able to help customers navigate their financial journey with confidence and ease.”
The bank aims to extend the initiative to additional branch locations in the future.
Arvest currently has over 500 associates located across its four-state footprint who are certified to offer products and services in Spanish. In October 2023, the bank opened a Community Resource Center in Tulsa designed to house multiple departments with bilingual associates and provide free financial education in Spanish and English. The bank also has an associate-led impact group, HOLArvest, which is voluntary and open to all associates, focusing on creating awareness and deepening relationships with the Hispanic and Latino communities.
