Sale of theater announced via social media post
Branson entertainer and businessman Jerry Presley has announced the sale of his theater.
Presley, owner of the God and Country Theater on Branson's 76 Country Boulevard, announced the sale of his theater in a social media post on Saturday. The theater— actually two separate theaters in one building—housed not only Presley's shows, but a large variety of shows over the last decade.

"I would like to announce that I have made the decision to sell my theater," said Presley, in a Facebook post. "The sale has been finalized. I have thoroughly enjoyed owning Jerry Presley's God and Country Theaters for the past 10 years but it is time for me to start a new chapter in my life."
Presley noted that he will remain a part of the Branson community and that his show, Jerry Presley's Elvis Live, will continue.
"This is not 'goodbye,'" said Presley, via the Facebook post. "I will still be performing here in Branson. As soon as the details for my show in 2026 are finalized, I will let everybody know where I will be and what the show schedule is for the new year. I am looking forward to the new things to come for us in 2026."
Presley voiced his appreciation to his family, friends, band members, employees, other shows that called the God and Country Theater home, and his fans for their support and encouragement throughout the years.
The Facebook post continued, "Additionally, I want to thank the Branson community for the support over the years for me and my theater. Most importantly, I would like to thank God. He has blessed me beyond measure and I give Him all the praise and glory."
A phone call to the theater for further comments regarding the change of ownership was unanswered.
