Apply now for Taney County Citizens Academy

The Taney County Sheriff's Department is now accepting applications for their 2026 Citizens Academy.

The Citizens Academy gives members of the community a behind-the-scenes look at law enforcement operations and services. Participants in the Citizens Academy will learn more about what the Taney County Sheriff's Department serves the county. They will also learn how graduates of the Citizens Academy—known as alumni—support and advocate for law enforcement, through sponsored activities and programs in the community.
