Young Life to host dessert fundraiser

Ozark Mountain Young Life invites you to join them on Monday, March 2, for “Sweet Life, Sweeter Savior,” a dessert fundraiser and gala helping support Young Life at various schools in the Ozarks. This fun evening of delicious desserts and inspirational stories will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Graystone Valley, 875 U.S. Hwy. 65 in Walnut Shade. 

Young Life serves youth by meeting them where they are, usually through clubs at their local schools, to build bridges of authentic friendship and connect them with Jesus Christ. In addition to local clubs, facilitated by vetted caring adults, Young Life provides a summer camp experience like no other, at various scenic locations across North America. During what many students call “the best week of their life,” high adventure, fun and great food combine with amazing speakers to help youth gain new understanding of their value to God and find relationship with Him. 

Sponsorships are still available for this fun dessert event. Starting at just $250, sponsors help provide Taney and Stone County youth the opportunity for caring Christian camaraderie and a relationship with Jesus Christ.
