Women’s Conference to be held Nov. 7-8 in Branson

Finding Faith Ministries, a non-denominational ministry focused on sharing God’s Word and encouraging churches and communities, is excited to be bringing a Women’s Conference to the Branson Columns event center on Friday and Saturday, November 7 and 8.

Main speaker for the “GodFidence Women’s Conference: Walking in the Confidence of God” is Cherie Ferguson, director of Finding Faith Ministries, based out of Troy, Missouri. There will also be dynamic praise and worship sessions. 

“We want women to know they are loved and that God has a purpose for their lives,” said Finding Faith spokesperson Mariah Douglas. “We pray that women come and are helped to see their value in the Kingdom of God.” 

Cost for the conference is just $35 for both days, or $20 for one day, to cover venue costs, and organizers are thankful for the partnership of The Columns in keeping that cost affordable and including, with each ticket purchased, an additional ticket for those who cannot afford the cost.

In addition to helping women find their identity and purpose in Jesus Christ, Finding Faith Ministries helps connect people with resources, community and fellowship; the ministry also works to help small rural congregations better connect with their communities. There will be resource tables at the event, as well as local church representation, to help make lasting connections. The ministry also partners with local women’s shelters and other nonprofits to identify women in need and provide a free ticket for them. 

After an outreach or conference event, a follow-up event is often held in the same community within the next few weeks, to introduce women new in their faith journey to resources and local ministries and churches. Such follow-up events usually include a breakfast and a grocery outreach. Churches are encouraged to contact the ministry to have a presence at the conference and be involved in follow-up.
